mr jib Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Me and this girl have been seeing each other for about 4 months now. At first we were both very guarded but both of us opened up to each other quickly. we would get close to each other and be very affectionate but in the last 2 weeks its been a rollercoaster ride. She's been very distant with one word answers and not looking at me when we talk and it feels like we have nothing to talk about anymore so its very awkward. Its almost like she's putting her guard back up and doesn't want to be around me but she still insists on hanging out and doing things with me. I've tried to talk to her about it but she just kind of shrugs it off like nothing is wrong and its frustrating. I'm not sure what's going on and I'm just really puzzled.
Author mr jib Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 Yea I know I don't deserve that type of treatment. Its like everything I do or say is annoying to her or seems stupid so its like I have to think about what I say before I say it. And thank you for the advice
Sophia8 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 The only time that I've known someone to not look a person in the eyes when talking to them is when they have something to hide. Maybe try again to get her to talk by being "blunt" - that you can not continue in a relationship like this without knowing what is going on with her. If she still refuses then you may need to walk away like JadedHearts said.
