TigerCub Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hey Guys, I've been reading A LOT online about how men don't leave their wives especially if they have children, and so on... I've been going NC with a guy that I love that says he loves me. It was more of an emotional affair, and I decided to go NC because I just don't think he'll ever leave. He has 2 kids...anyways (its the basic story) I've been looking for books that talk about dealing with an affair and the grieving process of ending one, and moving on, stuff like that. BUT...most books I find are for couples who deal with an affair cuz one of them cheated. (that doesn't help me). So...do any of you have any suggested reading for the OW on how to deal with ending the affair and all the feelings that go with it? Any other suggestions you think might help would be awesome as well. Thanks a bunch!
jennie-jennie Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Coming Apart by Daphne Rose Kingma is a good book on ending relationships in general.
MorningCoffee Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 About end of relationships generally, not just affairs. A little 'woo-woo' for some, but I got some good from The Wisdom of A Broken Heart, by Susan Piver.
