I need opinions on something i'm "debating" with a friend.

Would you be ok with your ex leaving old accounts/profiles/pictures of herself with ex fiance online ? She still logs on to the sites and has a new fiance.

Is this normal or disrespectful behaviour?

I take it she has photos and accounts involving you online, facebook or somesort?

Its reasonably disrepectful to the new guy, yes. Depends how prominently the ex features in them.

It's nothing to do with me thankfully!

Some sites feature how in love they are , how they are engaged and trying for a baby etc

I'm not going to say anything but it made me think about boundaries when you are with a new partner and if we expect too much. It's hard escaping the past in the internet age but maybe most people don't mind and i'm out of step because i'd want a boyfriend to delete such pics/details he was still using:o

Hmm, its a difficult one. It would make you seem insecure if you couldn't deal with just some online info. But, that said, to have a page where they declare their love and desires with their ex still present probably would be a bit of an issue I would not be happy with. I would bring it clear up and say its quite uncool and I don't like that kind of history hanging around as a reminder. You can never clear someones personal history with a magic eraser and start afresh. But you can leave the history where it belongs and write over it.

I don't really see it as a big deal.

I mean I have an old myspace where i'm still in a relationship but I never sign into it, I just leave it there out of laziness really.
