SassyKitten Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 It's a weird, emotionally numb feeling. On the surface, and for the most part I am so relieved that I am not having sex today with someone who would easily do so much more emotional damage than he already has. But at the same time, I do get flashes here and there where I will feel sad, or sometimes irritated. Am so looking forward to Montreal this Saturday, at least I'm still getting a vacation.
Author SassyKitten Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 Montreal looks gorgeous just in the pictures on the internet! The more I look at them, the more I want to visit one of these days. If you need to fill time in the next couple of days, you can plan more things to do on your trip. That's a lot of what I'm doing. The relationship was a pain, but at least I'm getting a nice trip out of it and not to see him!
skydiveaddict Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I'm sure you'll have a good time. You deserve it
LoveTruthChaos Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Montreal is beautiful! I had a ball when I was there (with the ex, but that's another story LOL) Make sure you check out something called the Tam Tam's. It's held in a park (the name escapes me right now), and it's just a bunch of people playing bongo drums and dancing in the park, and little craft stalls. It's only on Sunday's, so you've got great timing! If you go to a visitors centre and ask about the Tam Tam's, they will knwo what you're talking about. Please go, it's lots of fun!

Haha, I just spoke to a guy friend from Montreal(completely platonic) who I met when I was travelling a few years ago who invited me to a drumming festival in the park, I think Tam Tam's is what he invited me to! So looking forward to flying up there tomorrow.
