This girl ive had 4 dates with is giving me mixed signals. Everytime I kiss her, she kisses back maybe 2 times and then ends it, feels like she doesn't want to kiss me. She never initiated a kiss, aside from once when she was tipsy on our 3rd date. She puts her hand up my short sleeve shirt and rubs my arms pretty regularly, and on our last date she kissed me on the cheek out of the blue while we were sitting at the bar. Im really confused whether or not she's into me. Do girls kiss their guy friends on the cheek like that? I also told her I was going to take her to a jazz club but we came here instead and she replied "next time". She also hinted that we should watch a movie sometime or get some lunch at a spot she really likes. She said she's taken friends there before. Ive been physical with her since our 1st date and thats when we first kissed so she knows my intentions. Should I continue pursuing this girl and be aggressive? I don't feel much reciprocation. I would also like to hear from the ladies whether or not you would continue hanging out with a guy whose intentions you know, but you don't feel the same way about him.

No, not really, but then again each woman is different. It helps that you two have been physical. I will say I'm seeing a pattern of possible "freeloading" as you two always go somewhere she likes and my guess is that you pay the whole way.

One clear cut way to see whether or not she's legit is to suggest a "free" date, like the zoo or something like that. If she accepts straight out, then roll with the "free" date and see what happens. If she declines, or tries you to go somewhere else that requires you to spend money, tell you are trying to change it up or you are "bar'ed" or "restaurant'ed" out. If she still fights, on to the next one.

A girl worth your time will do anything just so long as she's with you.

Yes I have been paying for everything and she hasn't offered either. Our last date I took her to dinner and then we just took a stroll in the park followed by some drinks. But if she paid for her meal, wouldn't that be a clear signal that she only wants to be friends?

Does she kiss other people (that she's not related to) on the cheek? If so, it could be a friendly gesture. If that's abnormal for her, then it's definitely not. I would never kiss a guy on the cheek that I wasn't attracted to and I would DEFINITELY not be rubbing the arms or the body of a guy I wasn't attracted to either.

How about you talk to her about it?

If she gives a vague answer, then she's leading you on or doesn't really like you. If she says you two are dating and she sounds happy about it, then she PROBABLY means it. I mean, people lie sometimes, but I noticed when it comes to dating that people usually try to be vague when leading someone on, so they won't be accused of lying later and can still keep the person in their life hoping for something more.

I kiss my friends on the cheek when I greet them But no, I would never just be sitting with a guy friend and kiss him randomly on the cheek while hanging out. I do that with this new guy a lot because I am really attracted to him.

What did you do when she kissed you on the cheek out of the blue?

I agree.

You are over-analyzing things far too much, Bogo! If you really want to determine her interest level for you, then use some light kino next time you are out and then continue escalate further until you lock lips. If she pulls out of it quickly or resorts to kissing you on the cheek then I think that's a pretty clear indication that she has a low interest level in you and I'd call it a day with her and look for someone else.

Im not sure if she kisses her guy friends on the cheek like that since I haven't seen her with her friends. I think asking her about it would come off needy and weak, especially since I seem more emotionally invested than her. It might come off too strong and scare her away.

I didn't do anything, I probably smiled. I kissed her on the cheek throughout the night, gave her a quick peck another time, and then later on in the night I went for a real kiss. She slipped me the tongue for one exchange and then ended it. I gave her a peck when departing. If a girl is into a guy, won't she be all over him and want to kiss him more?

I'm always touchy feely with her, hugging her, hand on her thighs, etc. She's never turned her cheek when I went for a kiss, but she always ends the lip kissing pretty soon. You're right, I think her interest level just isn't very high although there is some.

If she kisses you, she likes you. She is not good at kisses and anything sexual because she is young and has limited experience. She is not going to get much better overnight so if you continue with her set realistic expectations that she is going to be cold and shy at sex. It is not because of you. It takes many yrs and many guys to be good at sex for most girls.

If you pay for dates and you are allowed to kiss her in lips, you are dating and you are not in friendzone.

Well ive decided to stop pursuing her. Its not worth it and I don't have time for wishy washyness. If she wants to hang out again ill definitely consider it but no more dinners or expensive drinks.

Good call man; very good call. I was about to say the fact that she has never offered to pay is a pretty good sign that she could be freeloading.

You'll find someone better.

Very good call, I agree. Life is too fleeting and too precious to waste on people who do not know what they want....good for you!
