Sphere
I'm sorry Maybe if you do some well organized protests the English will let you have control back. .... Oh and if asked very nicely they will probably apologize for 500 years of complete and total domination too... Sphere... man I know your just pulling my leg and your not really Welsh. Thank you I hadn't laughed that hard in a while. I wouldn't worry I'm still laughing about the BP Oil Spill and the fact your "great Armed Forces" is getting hammered in Afghanistan by 4000 goat herders.
Untouchable_Fire
Britain won plenty of wars and killed plenty of people. The sun never rose on it. Wales? I've no idea. Apparently, it couldn't manage to keep its independence except in the mind of this fellow. That said, America could do a bit better to be well-liked in the world. I don't know what Vietnam has to do with dating. Imagine the world ordered a pizza and the first guy who got his hands on it took 1/3, then passed it to the next guy and he took 1/3, then they hand it to 50 people and tell them to split it. How are those 50 people going to feel about the first two? I'm sorry but America isn't well liked because it soaks up so much of the worlds resources. Can't fix that without giving something up. OH Snap! Back to dating. I'm really thinking hard about asking out this Vietnamese woman. She is a student nurse volunteering with hospice patients. Something about that is just hot! You realize that oil spill could be like the Churnouble (spelling) of nuclear...which single handly halted the advance of nuclear power for like 20 years. **** like that could also REALLY hurt the economy as oil is connected to a TON of products - not just cars! Anyhow, none of this seems like a trait in women I would like? derail more
zengirl
Zengirl. An American who thinks she knows Wales better than I do. A lot of people didn't bother with that survey including me and Wales like Scotland is striving for independence. Maybe not in my lifetime or my future children's lifetimes, we'll get independence one day. America should do the world a favour and collapse, I cannot wait until it is no longer the world superpower. It has caused sixty four years of pure hell for the World mainly the Middle East and South East Asia. Oh, I don't know Wales at all. I did look up several studies, not just one. And, of course, not everyone participates in them. . . that's how studies work, even if they're reliable. I also don't view you as a reliable source. I know a few people from Wales. They seem to be fine with being British. At any rate. . . I'm finished with the conversation. At this point, I'm just being silly.

marsle85
This turn of topic has become offensive and diverted from the OP's original intention. Can we return to praising men and women, instead of breaking them down because of their nationality?
Woggle
Sphere is partially right. People claimed that feminism would create better relationships between men and women and lead to a new era of mutual love and respect? Can anybody here honestly say that that is what happened? Men and women pretty much hate each other these days and the bitterness on both sides is so thick you can cut it with a knife. The love world is just shot to hell these days. I don't believe on rigid gender roles but we live in a time when a man almost has to be willing to put a woman in check if he wants her to respect him and stay attracted. Men are so hostile towards feminism because most of it these days is just misandry disguised as independence. I actually respect women who come right out and say they hate men but most dance around the issue. Any time a woman complains about men not being able to handle her because she is a strong woman it sends up red flags. It usually means she is belligerent and nearly incapable of having a harmonious relationship with a man

Any time a woman complains about men not being able to handle her because she is a strong woman it sends up red flags. It usually means she is belligerent and nearly incapable of having a harmonious relationship with a man Men and women don't hate each other any more than they ever did. They are more able to be friends with each other and do what they like. The dating world is no more difficult than it ever was, except by the sheer number of options available to people. A world where there is no conflict or struggle between people doesn't exist. I would love a world where all people great each other with mutual love and respect, but that's like the world the Care Bears live in . . .not this one. But anyone who hates someone because of their gender is pretty ridiculous. I don't doubt you've met a few misandrists, Woggle, but I think it must be much less than you claim. At any rate, I see a misandrist as generally basically the female version of you: They just don't trust men to the point where they're always attacking them and saying we can't ever get along. Pretty much your posts about women. You should talk to some. Maybe you could find some common ground. People who are incapable of harmonious relationships are incapable of harmonious relationships regardless of gender. They usually struggle in the workplace and with friends and family as well (This is not all people who struggle in dating---just the subset who are incapable of harmony). I do agree with you about the "can't handle me" comment, but I'd say the same about fellows who say similar things. Those men and women are being deliberately difficult. You'reasian
I could care less about whether a guy did well in school or has a PhD. I just want somebody who doesn't bore me. Bingo. The most exciting or funny guy gets the girl, not necessarily the most successful or educated...

Author MrNate
Hey you! Yeah, I just returned from Europe! How's everything? Things are great here! Not as fun as a trip to Europe though, haha. It seems like that's a popular vacation spot, I take it there's a lot more to do/see over there than here..and that's awesome. I think I want to see the Vatican more than anything.. Maybe one day I'll make that journey. Sounds like it was loads of fun!
Rxwoman
Puh-leeeze, you guys are so full of it! When ever you see a man who can pretty much have anyone ( very rich, or famous, whatever) he ALWAYS goes for an air-headed, double-digited IQ, Barby doll, half his age. I personally know two sisters who are opposites. One is drop dead gorgeous, model material, but kind of ditzy, and with the personality of wood. The other is plainer, chubby, but highly intelligent, and funny as hell. Now, would you like to guess which one the guys have crawled through broken glass to be with? Get real.
