I dont think im scary but i know a lot of people are scared to talk to me or think im gonna shove them in trash cans or bully them. Are chicks scared of big guys? A friend told me freshman girls are probably scared of me because im so big. Does that sound true to you?

But 14-17 are awkward ages for everyone and I could see the possibility of girls being intimidated by such a big guy. I don't know if you have someone in mind, but you might want to look towards the 5'8"+ girls. I know that won't sound tall to you, but a girl that height is often taller than a lot of the boys, so your height might make you extra appealing. Plus, with a taller girl you won't have to bend down so much. But remember, the whole high school thing is awkward for everyone and it is hard for most people to find someone they really like who likes them back.

However, this will change, and you will likely find your height to be a tremendous social advantage sooner rather than later. Not much consolation now, I know, but it will balance out for you in the end.

In my experience women who are not confident and have self esteem issues are intimidated by me. Women you are confident in themselves are not. I think it has more to do with the other person, not you.
Sophia8 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 No not all women are scared of big guys, I'm 5'10 and tend to prefer guys of about 6'1 upwards and a lot of the women I know tend to like taller men but most of them are in there 20s and early 30s. Although I'm tall I wouldn't say the height of the woman has much to do with it as my aunt who is about 5'5 is married to a guy who is 6'3 and I know other women who are the same. Looking back to when I was at school I still really liked tall guys of about 6'+ and so did so did a lot of the other girls, so it really depends.

I've heard "you aren't putting that in me" a few times..so I guess a big guy can spook some women One of my brother in laws is a huge guy.. semi body builder, cop and his chest is huge and my sister is always talking about how safe she feels in his arms and their kids feel the same..
