I've always loved music, I play a few instruments myself and I'm always listening to music. Since my break-up I've found myself getting into really soft music, as opposed to the punk/grunge/post-rock stuff I usually listen to. Now it seems to be all slow, acoustic folky kinda stuff that catches my attention. I've been listening to the likes of William Fitzsimmons, Sufjan Stevens, Joseph Arthur, Tired Pony etc, etc, its weird coz that was never usually my kind of music, but now, in the aftermath of this break up, I feel I relate more to the sad, heartbreak songs than I do to anything else. Does anyone else ever feel this way? What kind of songs have you started listening to?

There's a band i really like, that no one here has probably heard of, but they make some beautiful music. They're called "Handful of Lovin'" and have a Celtic and Carribbean influence. Three CD's now and going strong. These kids are great in concert.

I'm a hard rock/classic metal kind of guy. Favourites: Led Zeppelin, U2, Green Day, AC/DC, Queen, Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses (the old stuff), Kiss, Judas Priest, Rush.

About two years ago a friend lent me his music collection on 12 DVDs. About 10,000 songs. I'm still working through them; it's cool to just put the iPod on random sometimes and see what new songs I'll discover while driving to work.

Pearl Jam has always been one of my very favourite bands! I haven't listened to them in a few months but I love them. I have No Code, Yield, Binaural, Rearviemirror: Greateast Hits, Self-titled, and Backspacer. Amazing band!! I love I Got ID and Given to Fly!
