Wicker_Parked Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 (edited) Geez i dont even know how many days or months NC, less than a year more than 3 months...i think, complete nc, ive found that getting rid of FB and telling the Ex to never call or contact is the only way, but the only way you know you are over them is when you start realising that even counting the days of NC is not beneficial in anyway. Pretend that the person, your ex, is someone that has passed away, i know it sounds bad but its is better than counting the days when you think that you can accidentally bump into, think that they might contact you pleading for another chance, or proudly show off your newly toned body, and improvements, change of lifestyle, financial stability, whatever it may be... The momentum you have to endure after the breakup should never be given back to your ex, you suffered enough, the anger stage has passed, the other weekend, a call came from her, i know it did, but i thought, what on earth do i have in common to talk about, the past? no, i dont want to got there....i let it pass....thought about it for a while then got over it... And eventually you forget that the reason for improving was initiated by the breakup, it will eventually become your routine, surround yourself with positive beautiful, people that have goals, and this 60day, 120 day will look like a small number, and when you do bump into that old Ex it will be years later, when you wont even recognise them. Realize that this breakup was the best thing that can happen, a second shot at achieving life's goals without having to think about anyone to steer you off, find your path and stick to it. keep it up...momentum! This is an opportunity given to you by your ex to grow and improve, and for them to have this chance, they will have to realize this on their own, not forced into it, like us. the dumpees Peace and happy dayze.
