We live together and he really loves me and we have a beautiful relationship. Any signs that he is about to propose? Thanks so much guys!
midori Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 1) why, if they don't know themselves whether or not their boyfriend is about to propose, women think that strangers here might know. 2) why women put so much energy into wondering about this in the first place. If you and your boyfriend have discussed issues surrounding marriage -- "do you want kids and if so how many?," "where do you want to live?," and of course "what are your views on pornography?" -- then he has obviously thought about it, as have you. If you haven't had such discussions, then why would you want him to ask you to marry him yet -- how could you answer without knowing where he stands on important things? There have been several such questions in the last couple of weeks. I don't mean to sound like a sourpuss but I'm just wondering what you're hoping to hear! Why do you think there are "signs" that are somewhat universal? You know your boyfriend, we don't. Has he done something to make you think that he's going to propose? If you're really bent on finding out what he's going to do before he does it, check his credit card statement. Big purchase at a jewelry store? If so, and he doesn't ask you to marry him, you might want to break up with him!
