Untouchable_Fire Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Well, by a majority vote, it looks like it's clean shaven. I can't believe it. Not one single woman has come forward to proclaim the awesomeness that is the Tom Selleck Stash! ... also... kinda surprised nobody likes the Ricky Ricardo either.
Gallaxia Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I can't believe it. Not one single woman has come forward to proclaim the awesomeness that is the Tom Selleck Stash! The good ol' Tom Selleck "1970's porn 'stache" ? Um, No thanks.
nikayla Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Thinking back to Erica's past thread, I think I might know why people mistake you for being gay  Priceless.
nikayla Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Which looks better? http://blog.zap2it.com/thedishrag/legacyimages/thedishrag/images/paulwall_cohen_12674513_600_1.jpg http://www.mtv.com/content/ontv/vma/2008/photo/flipbooks/08-red-carpet/paul-wall-16000635_wire.jpg I guess there were no avail pics of attractive rappers...smh
Rifareal Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 One thing i can say is that we all have our own styles. Just be yourself, as long as your comfortable with yourself and doesn't affect anyone in a negative way that will do.
Author MrNate Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Goatee is kind of the worst I can imagine, except maybe a soul patch, Magnum P.I. mustache, or a Fu Man Chu. I'm anti-goatee. I'm anti-mustache. I've dated guys with beards (some fellows look good with them; some fellows look creepy), but it's not fun to kiss. I don't mind a little stubble, but not all the time. That just tells me you're too sloppy to shave all the way and too noncommittal to grow a beard. It's kind of the ponytail of facial hair -- good for a casual day now and again, but shave it off from time to time and try something different. In my book: Clean shaven is the way to go. The worst?? MAN. Too many of you women keep quiet about these things.. Lol.

Just be yourself, as long as your comfortable with yourself and doesn't affect anyone in a negative way that will do. Definitely, and it's been a good 6 years since I've changed things up. So I figured I'd find out what's 'in' and apparently clean shaven has been for a long time, ha. I guess I get tired of looking thirty all the time. Plus they're quite a challenge to maintain (for me, there's not much room for error). Who knows how off putting this may have been for me? Walking around looking like someone's dad..haha.
zengirl Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 The worst?? MAN. Too many of you women keep quiet about these things.. Lol. Well, in Korea, everybody'd be telling you to shave it day and night. Male and female. Young and old. (Everybody except foreigners, who'd mind their own business.) Not so quiet here. Honestly, I've never known anybody with a goatee.

I guess it has been past due for me to upgrade. You're in Korea? Is it a safe time to be there?

Is it a safe time to be there? Safe as anytime, I guess. As the embassy says, "The danger of North Korea is not immediate" I'd stayed pretty closely tuned to them in June when things were hopping after the submarine incident. And I know there's the big "security demonstration" now. A lot of that has more to do with shoring up the South Korean President's power (the biggest stuff was right before the election, earlier in the Summer; he was trying to get more of his party into office, so he could pass more stuff before his term expires). There hasn't been any update from either government since June. Certainly, one never knows what will happen, but most Koreans don't go around worried about it, and neither do I.

Seriously... what is N.Korea going to do with the US Military camped out on the border but rattle sabers. Without a giant green light from China nothing is going to happen. Maybe if the N.Koreans started growing goatees... they would be more intimidating.

When I heard the planes from the exercises today, I was a bit startled, as I always am by certain noises. I'll admit, after the stress of June (and what it did to the darn exchange rate!), it'll be a little bit of a relief to come home. The problem is. . . yeah, it would be crazy for NK to attack. . . but you gotta ask yourself just how crazy is NK? Some of the stories from escapees are pretty terrifying/fascinating. The real issue is going to be if there's ever a power grab within North Korea. (Or, yeah, a green light from China.)

Everything they do is designed to prevent a military coup. I have a customer that runs a big medical facility up there. I donate tons of money and supplies to it every year. They have all kinds of crazy stories. China would never give them a greenlight. It's estimated that the Chinese could have lost up to 1,000,000 soldiers in the last war... and this time it would be way nastier. Are you doing one of those teach English to Korean students jobs?

Basically, though I work at an international school. Some of the kids are Korean, some are Western, some are from surrounding countries (Japan, etc).
Author MrNate Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 Clean shaven and a splash of cologne. Funny you say this. I just bought my first set of cologne ever. It's called 'light blue' by Dolce and Gabbana.

I can't believe they make one for Men and don't bother to change the name. I know probably 4 girls who use this scent. It is really popular. So... don't go sharing that info.... they will think your shopping in the perfume section... maybe wearing some nice panties too. If you like D&G use Pour Homme.... it get's lots of compliments. Also Armani Black Code is good.

I really liked that one though, it wasn't too heavy of a cologne, and it smelled pretty good for a first pick. I'll be collecting more, but I'll keep those you mentioned in mind for some variety.
