zengirl Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 On those women, yeah. FWIW, for me, an overly expensive car is a huge turn-off. (The men who own them are usually obsessed with image and like attracts like. . . they get those kind of gals.) I hate gas guzzlers are too. (And the Ferrari is both!) So, definitely not all women.
SilentVoice Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Wow , I can't believe this women sat on this man's Ferrari. That is just rude.
Author Woggle Posted July 25, 2010 Author Posted July 25, 2010 Wow , I can't believe this women sat on this man's Ferrari. That is just rude. I would have had to chew her out if I were him.
Fra Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 He has another sitting in the hottub-pool at home. He aint worried. Probly his 8 year old's car anyways.
SassyKitten Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Wow, so lame. I'm the kind of woman who is perfectly capable of making her own money and buying her own Ferraris and diamonds. Oh, wait, that's not very important to me, but I am capable of making my own money and doing lots of travelling!!
Green Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 You don't even need a car this nice to watch the effect a car has on women. Seriously nice bmw or mercedes would get women wet to. Don't believe women when they tell you they could care less about a man who can afford nice things.
Feelin Frisky Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I would have had to chew her out if I were him. Yeah. "Hey beetcha, getta you effena azza offa my Ferrari. Whata you nutza?
SassyKitten Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Green - Many women, yes, but certainly not the more empowered types who can take care of themselves. But then again most successful or about-to-be successful women, including myself, aren't comfortable with the idea of being the only breadwinner in the relationship. Making money as well as the domestic side of things is all teamwork!
TheWatcher Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Not surprising. Most men are aware of this. This is the reason why men (generally speaking)..particularly young men are so obsessed with (luxury) cars. It exemplifies wealth, prestige and status which are important to some(if not most) women.

Making money as well as the domestic side of things is all teamwork! You arn't even aware of the things tha build attraction but you'd probably be suprised. I could build a man with no arms or legs who doesn't have much money and lacks confidence and even he could get a gf... But lets not confuse the facts (nice cars) do attract women. Even you yourself admit you want a man who has reached a certain level of financial sucess. Obviously you don't have to drive a nice car even if you are rich... but nice cars help and once again I wonder if woggle is shocked or amused by something that at my age I take for granted.

Author Woggle Posted July 25, 2010 Author Posted July 25, 2010 I am more amused. I have been walking around in the posher side of New Yorks and on a few occasions I have seen nice cars with post it notes containing women's phone numbers on the window.
SassyKitten Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Yeah, but it's not a very high standard, I just ask for enough for him to be able to support himself if I wasn't around. Not for enough to support him and myself, but then the more money we make together the earlier we can retire.
Enchanted Girl Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 You don't even need a car this nice to watch the effect a car has on women. Seriously nice bmw or mercedes would get women wet to. Don't believe women when they tell you they could care less about a man who can afford nice things. It's weird to me how the men on here keep insisting that they know what women want better than the women on here do. =/ Nice cars aren't important to me either. I wouldn't even know that car was a nice car, except it was told to me before I clicked on the video. I can't tell the difference between different cars at all. I can tell shiny versus junky car, but that's about it and not all shiny cars are fancy, sports cars or whatever. I can recognize that the word "ferrari" is a fancy car, but I don't even know if that's a brand name or a specific type of car. I can't even be attracted to men based on this because it would require at least a tiny bit of knowledge of cars, which I have none. I have a feeling someone might mock me for having this little knowledge of them, but I haven't had a need to know more. But it's not really important to me anyway even if I did know stuff. My boyfriend hasn't bought me presents for my birthday or christmas in the last two years. XD Some girls would be freaking out right now, but it's very unimportant to me and he makes minimum wage and struggles too much to be able to afford things for me, so we've never fought about it. So I don't know why people think ALL women are materialistic. Yes, there are some shallow women that are materialistic. Just like there are shallow guys with really high standards towards women about looks. That's not all of them, though, or even necessarily the majority.
Author Woggle Posted July 25, 2010 Author Posted July 25, 2010 There is a huge difference between what women say and what women do so the last person a man should ask for advice on women is women. Also men who have dating experience start to learn what does and does not work.
Pfiend101 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 You wanna get laid quick. Buy a dodge viper or corvette. You'll have women in no time. Nothing new about this.

Also men who have dating experience start to learn what does and does not work. Both genders are equally qualified or equally unqualified to comment on what the other wants. When it comes to talking about women, women are individuals and men tend to come from a jaded and cynical viewpoint, and vice versa. Maybe people really need to start looking at the opposite gender as individuals, not as another species!

Also men who have dating experience start to learn what does and does not work. Thank you for the sweeping generalizations. This isn't true though. You're confusing the fact that different women have different preferences with us all lying about what we really like. No woman on this thread would leave their phone numbers on expensive cars or ever have. Does that mean we are a representation of all women? No. Especially seeing that most women who are shallow and go after the fancy cars and expect a man to have lots of money are probably not women who regularly surf internet forums. If you asked this question on twitter though, you would get a lot more positive responses to it probably. Not that everyone on twitter is shallow, but you know what I mean.

Making money as well as the domestic side of things is all teamwork! I'm calling bulls*** on that one. Why is it that when a woman suddenly starts making more money, or becomes successful... her BF or Husband suddenly gets dumped for a richer more powerful guy. Jennifer Hudson is a perfect example. Some success and suddenly her janitor BF gets insta dumped. The kicker is she blames it on him.... Says he couldn't handle her success. Im sure there are some exceptions to the rule... but this one is pretty much like gravity. It's weird to me how the men on here keep insisting that they know what women want better than the women on here do. =/ The issue is that your talking about yourself... and lets be honest... your a little different. I don't think you experience this in the same way... because you don't date women. Do you want me to tell some stories? I've got a ton!

I could give women some advice on how to get men but beleive me they never listen.

Maybe people really need to start looking at the opposite gender as individuals, not as another species! I agree! LOL. In fact, I enjoy when men defeat my cynical viewpoints of them. Sometimes I feel like all men just want sex and they don't want to be emotionally involved in relationships at all and that all they care about is looks because that's my cynical viewpoint, but I find men who aren't that way, luckily, and it makes me feel better.

Superficial women base a guys worth on his material posessions. Real down to earth women don't do that. I have never had a luxury automobile and I have always done just fine meeting women.
