onewillburn Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Been a while. I'm doing good in life and am generally pretty happy, pusuing the goals I want to pursue. I broke NC over a week ago via e-mail. Basically we go to the same shows a lot and both play in bands that play these shows. All I said was that I had no bitterness towards her and wanted to let her know that things didn't have to be awkward if/when we cross paths. I also let her know that I could probably help her out with shows or whatever if she wanted. No implications of a friendship or meeting up or anything. I felt this might be an appropriate move given that we're both actively pursuing the same festival type show and would inevitably see each other. She hasn't responded. I knew this was a possibility. I'm fine with it, I just wanted to clear my side of the fence. She doesn't have to talk to me. I looked at her Facebook pictures for the first time in several months. I guess she's with this 30 year old guy now (we're both 21). He's kind of fat and not very good looking, which doesn't matter I guess. Whatever suits her fancy, I guess. I'm not gonna lie that it makes me feel very strange. But I'm sure that feeling will pass. Life is unpredictable.
