Hi LSers! This past weekend I went to the gym with my mom (fitness nut and one time personal trainer) and she showed me some really cool workouts utilizing a bosu ball. It was very hard at first, at least for me, because balance and flexibility aren't my strong points. I'm working areas that I think I've been otherwise neglecting!

 

So, what are your favourite bosu ball workouts?

My favorite BOSU ball workout usually consists of me staring at the devise while is sits idly in the corner. :p

 

Sarcasm aside, I haven't used them much, but I'm sure a little balance and stability training wouldn't kill me...

Haha, that was my attitude as well! I never would have even tried without someone to walk me through it in person. :)

BOSU BALL!!!! That's my FAVORITE apparatus at the gym! :bunny:

 

Basically, ANYTHING that you would normally do standing up, you'd do standing on the Bosu ball, plastic flat side up...so for example, squats, deadlifts, military presses, curls, all your dumbell raises...everything...

 

Also, you can do pushups on the Bosu ball...along with dips...it's just a matter of getting creative... :)
