asdfasdf1234 Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 My ex-GF and I broke up at the beginning of May (I broke up w/her). We were together for five years, and she was the first girl I ever "loved". I'm 26. Anyways, I don't know whether I made a mistake or not. I miss her quite a bit. She sent me an e-mail yesterday saying we should keep in touch and we corresponded a little back and forth. It is very difficult for me to still be in contact with her, even via e-mail. Honestly, I'm a little surprised that she doesn't have a problem with it. What do you think? Is there any more reading into this then her actually just wanting to keep in touch? I am just surprised that it is so easy for her to keep in contact. The only thing I can figure is she met someone else and is genuinely interested in how my life is going? Opinions?

Opinions? id assume you know her best and can make the better guess at her intentions. however a 5 year relationship is a long time and means that at the very least you both played a big part in each others lives and that it isn't all that unusual if she genuinely cares about the affairs of your life. email her back. tell her honestly how contact with her, at this point, makes you uncomfortable. see what she says.
