Thedudeabidez Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 After 5 months of no contact, as issued by her, she contacts me through Facebook. She broke up with me, a couple of weeks later started dating some one else. That lasted about 2 months. A few weeks later she sent me a message saying that she had wanted to call me to hang out but didn't remember my number. She said she wanted to just be friends, but I don't think she is the type. She claims she became friends with a few other exes but I don't think that's completely true. After a few days she acted like it was all for show and didn't really want to hang out. I told her to forget it and never contact me again. After all she was the one that left me in the first place. What do you ladies and gentlemen think this girl truly wanted from me? What did she want to happen?

daphne Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Maybe she was lonely and hit you up for attention. It's usually the guy who tries to be friends, but unless you guys were really good friends before or during dating, I think it was just a ruse. Sounds like too many headgames.

Women don't suddenly make contact with someone they used to or still care about only to shun them immediately after unless they have deep psychological issues and are playing games. You did the right thing. Glad you're rid of her.
