Lovingmargy Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 A relationship is like a dance. Two partners, creating beauty. But when one partner does not want to "dance" anymore, what do you do? When one is in a long relationship the other person becomes part of you. It is really hard to let go. But think, if you really love somebody you want to see them happy, right? Most people think that they could only be happy with you by their side. Whatever the reason, this person is not happy anymore. Put yourself in their shoes. Would you like to be in a relationship where you are no longer happy? It will hurt, and you will cry. But remember that NOTHING last forever. And even though this person seem to be the one, it wasn't. The best thing to do is accept this and move on. Maybe the other person was like a security blanket for you, and you fear that you will never find another person. NOT TRUE! My grandmother told me that no matter how ugly you think you are, you will always be beautiful to somebody. An ex is really not worth us being miserable and ruin our life's over. Grief for a little bit, but time heals wounds. You are in control of how you feel. Learn to love yourself, and live yourself before you love another. I wish you all the best of luck on coping with a break up, as I am going through the same. Be glad for the good times, and make new ones with someone else. Think that you will or had broken hearts along the way......
