I still think about him a year on! I havnt contacted him for 6 weeks and dont intend to. But saw some pics of him (doh thought Id covered that so I wouldnt) looking happy tanned n toned.AAAAHHHHHH! I dont get why I care. I just want to be happy again! I thought I was getting over it.

yeah, I hear ya, I saw some pics of my ex with another guy, photos on FB that just cropped up, that was like a punch in the gut, I was devastated, she didn't look anything special, not dressed up or anything, just plain and simple her, which I miss

 

and seeing someone else take my place, man, that hurts like a mofo

NC has helped a bit. you're only 6 weeks in this time, so perhaps see how that plays out. Trying to work at it myself to get to the point where I can just fully let go, but it is indeed tough.

1 year on and only NC for 6 weeks? I didn't take off the rose-colored glasses for 3 months after NC! I talked to him 5 months after the break up and once NC started... healing did too. I loved him all those 5 months just to be broken each time we spoke.

Saw pictures of my ex. And yes, she got better looking. Wearing a bikini and was tanning. Gah it drove me nuts.

 

NC is tough. Makes you wonder to the point where you can have a mental break down. Best thing you can do is avoid the facebook at all cost.
