wooody_1245 Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 I would like to propose to my girlfriend. This spring break we are going to vegas, and I would like to do it then. I have never been to vegas so I don't have any good ideas. Does anyone have an idea or maybe a past experience? Thanks!!
longlegzs80 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Go for it WOOODY, I will be there hopefully in April as I plan, but go have some fun in Vegas and check out the website. http://www.vegas.com. Your girlfriend would be so happy. What a perfect thing.
Author wooody_1245 Posted February 16, 2004 Author Posted February 16, 2004 Does anyone at least know of any romantic spots in vegas???
brashgal Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 You could go out to the Hoover Dam - it's pretty awe-inspiring...

The water fountains in front of The Bellagio are gorgeous. If you have the money, I would recommend spending that night at the hotel with a room facing the fountains. They have some pretty good specials on certain dates. Check out their website. They have the best view I've ever seen from a hotel room. They play music in the room to match the lighted fountain shows and it is SO romantic sitting there looking out the window. You can see a lot of the city from there as well. It is right across the street from the Paris hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower. You could order room service or just a bottle of champagne to pop the question. Good luck!

There's the synchronized fountains at the Bellagio (The set the fountains to music, and the tune changes over the course of the day). Then there's the Gondola rides over at the Venetian. And of course the spectacular view of Las Vegas from the top of the Stratocenter. It all depends on what you consider romantic. Just keep in mind that they drive on the "Strip" in Las Vegas like they do on the freeways of New York: very fast with no concern for pedestrians. For me, it was very nice to be somewhere that reminded me of home.
