bobdole Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Is any ring on the wedding ring finger considered an "I'm taken" ring? Promise, engagement, or wedding ring? I've seen some ugly or cheap looking rings that don't look like anything a man would give to the woman he loves. Some of those same women have been flirty as well, making me wonder
jennifer4 Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 To me, a woman, a ring on my ring finger doesn't mean a thing. Unless I'm married. I used to wear a ring on my ring finger, just because it fit and guys would say to me after we'd meet that they thought i was married. LOL So i moved it to another finger. So if a woman is being flirty I'd say the ring means nothing.
laRubiaBonita Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 did you know many europeans wear the wedding rings on the right hand? it could mean something- it might not. the best way to tell is compliment her on the ring and say something "who is the lucky guy..."
benmac360 Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 A co worker with a boyfriend told me she wears a fake engagement ring on her left hand ring finger to keep guys from trying to pick her up.
laRubiaBonita Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 A co worker with a boyfriend told me she wears a fake engagement ring on her left hand ring finger to keep guys from trying to pick her up. and i have known women AND men that wear fake wedding rings TO get hit on.
prettybaby Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 If it doesn't look like a wedding ring nor an engagement ring, just assume that she isn't taken unless she clearly says she is. I know a lot of girls who wear a ring on their ring finger without any hidden meaning to it. It's just a ring, that happens to be on the ring finger ... no big deal.
