matildack Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I just discovered that my ex boyfriend got back together with his old ex after only a SINGLE full day of breaking up with me.They broke up over two years ago (see my other thread he left me for his ex.. for more info). Worse yet, my friends are friends with her. I am absolutely shocked and so upset. I am so glad that I followed through so far with NC though. I will continue to do so, unless he contacts me, which I hope he won't, because I'm not sure if I could ignore it. It is just so heartbreaking.. this guy had me head over heels in love with him and left me cold. I just really need encouragement right now

I know you hurt like hell right now but things will get better. I've been there too. Try to force yourself to exercise and hang close w/your friends. Stay busy, better days are ahead for you

You'll be okay, keep on going NC I believe in you! and don't listen to music. It's poison to the mind, and will probably mess with your head. His lost. Think about what you had to offer, and think "his loss". You deserve someone who will give you as much as you give them anyways (in terms of love). Hang in there!
