...of course I didn't expect it to be perfect and I know that there are a lot of people out there worse then me but still I'm holding myself a little pity party. Feel free to join. So here's a list of what was not supposed to happen:

1. At age 25 I was not supposed to have lost both of my parents - leaving me feeling completely rootless.

2. Six months after my (now ex-) husband brought me over to this country he was not supposed to sleep with a prostitute, and refuse marriage counselling.

3. At 27 I was not supposed to be completely clueless about my life, stuck in a job I hate so I can afford to stay in a house that I feel has now got me trapped. I was also not supposed to feel so completely and utterly alone.

Hey Phoebe.. I don't have any magical words to make things better..

When someone goes thru what you have the only thing that comes to my mind is a hug...

***hugz***

Time has a way of dulling the pain and helping us cope..

Just know that you are not alone and many of us have been thru things that have changed the future of our lives.

I hope things get better for you :)

Phoebe: join the military. You can find a job you love, leave your past behind you.

When you're feeling like this, the best thing you can do for yourself is to start affecting positive changes in your life. You are the only one in charge of you, and your life won't magically turn around unless you affect it.

If you remain in hopeless mode, you'll stay there.

Start with the house- can't you sell/move, break the lease? That would be a good place to start. When you start to see that you can affect small changes, you'll become more confident about tackling the bigger ones.

You've experienced some heavy stuff and you've managed to survive it. You can get through this as well if you put your mind to it. As soon as you accept you're defeated, you are.
