melissa123 Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Hey all I have a questions regarding NC and facebook. I am going NC with a guy right now (man its hard). I don't txt him, call him, email him or whatever. I just have NC. However when I look into the meaning of NC it is to make them miss you right? And wonder what you are up to? My issue here is I am friends on facebook with this guy. I can't delete him as he hasn't done anything wrong and I feel that would make me look petty. I have deleted his statuses from showing up on my news feed and am just relying on my will power to stop myself from snooping on his site!! However I know he snoppes around on my page a bit and if Im still posting things on it and having conversations with other people does this hinder NC? He is not getting a chance to miss me or wonder what im up to as its all displayed on facebook? I certinally dont post silly things that are obviously directed at him but im just wondering if by posting anything at all am I hindering NC? Should I stop posting things on there for a bit or screw him and get on with my life (as however hard as it may be), I found that before I went NC he went through a few weeks of not posting anything on his site and it drove me wild wondering what he was up to!!

He was the most impossible guy to work out ever!! He did some really sweet things that made me think he was totally keen, then did some stuff that made me think he wasn't interested at all!!! I know he is very shy and apparently 'useless' at communication but im tired of making all the effort so im backing off and doing 'NC' to see what happens. I tried so hard I actually feel like a bit of an idiot so im kinda hiding for a while also. lol So in regards to this situation is it better to disappear off facebook for a while and make him wonder or just carry on as normal and see what he does? Your trying to make it into some game, should I play hard to get, should I pursue, I will pretend I do not like him, then I will show him I do, I friend the unfriendly to get some type of reaction. If this guy is " 'useless' at communication" why d you want to be in relationship with him. He is not going to change and get better, this feeling of not being sure will be your relationship even if he does want to make yo his "GF". And then in six months or a year you will be here posting "My BF just walked away and never even said he was not happy, I do not understand why". Despite all that and you think you still want to go where angels fear to tread, then just approach him and talk to him and ask his intentions. If you have to play games to win someone over likely they walk after the game is over and life begins.
