Just want to know how she is doing

I havent spoke to my ex in about 7 days. It ended 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I want to ask her how she is doing. We broke up shortly after her family problems surfaced. She took it horribly. I tried to be there and explain to her she will be fine regardless of it. She can't change what was going on so to not let it bother her.

 

So now I am alone at work missing her Horribly and just want to text her and see how she is and how her weekend was. Bad Idea?

Yes, bad idea.

 

Too bad that you're missing her, but you broke up with her. It's not up to her to make YOU feel better about missing her.

 

Leave her alone and let her heal. She doesn't need you contacting her and confusing her with your concern about her welfare () unless you want to get back together with her.

Sorry, She broke up with me. Saying that she needed time to think. I was trying to explain that she couldn't change her family problems so don't let it bother her. I now think she thinks I am an A hole. I was only trying to help her.

Ah, I misunderstood.

 

I still don't think you should contact her. If she broke up with you saying she needed time to think, you should give her time to think. She knows how to reach you.

i haven't spoke to my ex in 2+ years.

sometimes thats the way it works.

 

another 2 ex's of mine, they said they still love me and we keep in contact.

one even flew out here to visit me a few weeks ago and even had sex with me.

the other one said i could sleep over anytime and she'll have sex with me too.

 

people are different, they come in all shapes and sizes. live and learn. do not contact your ex. if she said she needs time to think, give her time to think, in the mean-while assume the relationship is over and she's banging another dude.
