Alright fellas, this has been on my mind lately. What do you think is important to us? Basically, what drives our purpose to do what we do?

I've came up with a few (straight to the point, ha) things to get us started:

1.Money

2.Sex

3.Power (Influence)

Of course feel free to add your own if you have any.

Do you think these things along with others help define masculinity? Might men feel 'empty', or unsuccessful, if they fail in reaching certain aspects such as these?

It makes you wonder if there is some sort of 'end point' when you can call yourself 'successful', though that term is subjective.

This should be a decent discussion.

Why do we pursue what we pursue?

Each man will value things according to his own personal, cultural, educational influences...

One man will value money, power, sex.

Another one will value trust, dependability and longevity.

Yet another will value humor, individuality and frienship etc.

To be honest, neither of those three are driving forces in my life.

The most important thing in my life is to be happy and to make others around me happy. No other outside things really drive me expect for the pursuit of happiness and love.

That's just me though.
