threebyfate Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 My interest in this is that people I know date/marry younger women and I think its NASTY the stuff you say.I see. So your perception is that you're protecting the people you know by starting a thread on LS, open for discussion and bashing and personally attacking people who disagree with you. This makes no rational sense at all since none of us know your friends or who you really are. Be prepared to lose your son if you ever call him GROSS or a CREEP or PEDO for doing something completly natural and LEGAL.I can and will call a spade, a spade.
soserious1 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 ok, so men lust for younger women and will choose them whenever possible. I'm not sure what sort of response you are looking for from the rest of us here? If somebody doesn't want to be with me because I'm too old, that is their right, what else would you like to hear?
Shakz Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Well, what about the reverse. If I was 18 and Megan Fox was 31 (hell, if Megan Fox was 51) I'd jump at the chance for even one night with her. Matter of fact, when I was 18 I had an affair with a 35 year-old-woman, but when things started to get serious my mother put a stop to it. She said she knew her sister better than I did, and it would only end in heartache for me. Turned out my mother was right, because just a couple of months later she got real fat around the middle and skipped town.

Lizzie60 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I don't know this guy.. I've seen Megan Fox in a magazine before.. but don't follow her career.. Hollywood people are all the same.. in the end.. idiots who crave publicity.. by all means.. They date, marry, divorce, date, marry, divorce.. etc.. etc.. He was 31.. she was 18.. no big deal.. she was old enough to know what she was doing. she wasn,t a child.. she was a young adult.. it's only 13 years difference.. gosh I'm sure there are lots of people here who have 13+ years difference with their partner. My daughter started dating at 18.. she met a guy 20 years older..he was 38. He was extremely attractive and rich.. he fell head over heels for her.. he asked her to marry him.. she then decided to travel to south america for a few months.. he almost went nuts.. she didn't love him enough to marry him.. it lasted about 18 months.. my daughter is very smart and mature.. My young MM is 31 years younger.. age is just a number.. some 18-20 year olds are more mature than 30some year olds..
Lovelybird Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 You know I feel the same way to a certain extent. I'm 48 and of my most recent relationships, all of which have been with women in my age group, ended because the woman was dissatisfied and broke it off. I was constantly being compared in a negative light to some previous guy. It gets pretty frustrating when one woman says, "you're just like my ex, uncommunicative and emotionally unavailable," and the next says, "you don't have to tell me every little thing your feeling. it makes you seem needy." Well, what am I, hot or cold? It makes you want to be just luke-warm. Luck-warm won't get you anywhere either
flying Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Well, that bit of spam seems like an appropriate ending to this thread.
xpaperxcutx Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Their marriage is a joke. It's pretty much like a Las Vegas quickie. I mean looking back on their history, they'd already broken one engagement and had been on and off in their relationship. They're like Jude Law and Sienna Miller, calling it quits every few months.
CaliGuy Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Physically she is attractive but how can he deal with her personality? She has to get annoying very quick. a) She is attractive on the outside. b) I couldn't stand her personality for more than 5 seconds. So, if that makes Brian Austin Green (who I do like as a person) happy so be it. I don't think it will last but it isn't any of my business. PS: I have, on many occasions, dated women much younger than me. Does that make me a bad person? Oh, I might add that I have never, ever looked my age so dating someone my own age would look odd to most everyone.
stillafool Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I don't know who B.A.G. is but Megan Fox is very pretty. I could care less who men date - young, old, half dead, who cares. I find younger men more attractive also, so I can't complain.
Curious-One Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 That has been happening since man existed. nothing new
crfsti Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 And after all these years I thought Brain Austin Green was gay.....
TinaniT Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Pedophiles are gross. I find such a statement really unfortunate. Pedophiles are disgusting and we need to put a stop to it as a society, and it only confuses the issue when you confuse it with a relationship with an age difference. I always think that people who get overly concerned with a man dating a younger (legal) woman have quite a few issues and insecurities.
Untouchable_Fire Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Wait until your future teenage or 18 year old daughter gets pursued by a 31 year old man. You'll not only be creeped out, you'll be bringing out the shotgun. Shotgun? I'd beat the old geezer down with my walker.
D-Lish Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 And after all these years I thought Brain Austin Green was gay..... Yeah, I think you're confusing him with Doogie Howser:laugh: They look so similar.

zengirl Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I make it a policy not to care much about anything that involves Megan Fox. Really, isn't Brian Austin Green still a sex symbol too? It's not like this was an old geezer picking up a Hollywood Hottie.

Good for him, despite not being able to act too well, she's a 10. She really is a stunningly beautiful woman.

Aw, man, I'm only 2 years older than Ms. Fox, and I totally had a crush on Brian Austin Green (aka David) back in the day. Big 90210 fan when I was in middle/high school. Also liked him on The Sarah Connor Chronicles. . . it's not like he hasn't worked recently. He's a musician too, I think, and a cutie. Megan Fox is beautiful but not much else. Most guys I know don't mention her when talking about hot female celebrities. She's beautiful in that everybody's forgotten about her way, it seems.

I don't know of anything David Silver has appeared in, or made waves in, since 90210. Not that it matters. MF is totally hot.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which I mentioned (The terminator TV show. . . it was only around for 2 seasons, but it had a solid cult following), was in 2007/2008, ending in early 2009.

Enchanted Girl Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Why was this thread made about megan fox and brian austin green? If you are trying to make a thread about legitimate relationships between people with huge age gaps and are using celebrities as examples, why didn't you choose calista flockhart and harrison ford, for instance? Their relationship seems more legitimate to most people and they have a bigger age gap than megan fox and B.A.G. do. Seriously, this would be like making a thread about how all celebrities aren't pedophiles and using Michael Jackson as your example. How about using someone that doesn't have a bunch of controversy surrounding them on the issue?
Chicago_Guy Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I doubt this marriage will last even five years. Megan Fox was born with superior genetics but has marred her body with unnecessary plastic surgery and tattoos. I would be surprised if she doesn't have serious emotional issues. If Brian Austin Green is smart, he will marry her without a pre-nup, because she probably has more money than him.
