She's a shy girl and she doesn't get out as much until she met me. I'd like her to call me sometimes instead of me always calling her. What should I do?

Tell her you'd love to hear from her more often. That might be hard for her, though. Shy is tough to break out of until she gets to know you really well. Shy girls don't respond well to aloof. She'll think you're backing off and will do the same.
that girl Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Getting her wrapped around your finger and getting her to do some of the contacting are too different things. Don't be aloof. She always responds to you, so it is very unlikely she feels overwhelmed by the contact. And if she is shy, there is basically zero chance she will chase after a guy who pulls away. You need to ask her to call more. You could even do something like playfully say "I think you should plan the next date. I'm free Friday so let me know this week where you'll be taking me." But don't be cocky about it, be friendly about it. Shy girls are easy to scare off.

You have to get to the point of trust with a shy person in order for them to be comfortable enough to initiate contact. If you pull away, you erode trust, and that sends a shy person away rather than trying to get closer to you.
