biermadchen Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 was with my bf the other day, chatting about this and that, listening to music in the background, when he basically interrupted a story i was telling to ask me to listen to a song that was playing...he was so insistent that i went ahead and listened and noticed he was singing along to the song (which he usually doesn't do)...i was so enraptured by the song itself that at first i didn't notice the lyrics, but when he kept singing them, it caught my attention and then something in my head told me "listen to the words, you dork! he's trying to TELL you something!"...by this time, the song was basically over, though, and i felt myself rather lamely expressing my surprise and delight at how lovely the song was and the seeming movie moment had passed...admittedly, i had been kind of out of it that day, so i may have imagined it, but the words were so fitting that i can't shake the feeling that he was trying to tell me something and maybe i didn't quite pick up on it properly (or was/am too scared to admit it)...was i imagining this?
Sivok Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 If he was trying to tell you he loves you, don't sweat it. He'll try again
Author biermadchen Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 lol, good point...in my dismay at my lack of receptiveness, i didn't think of that! god, but i can be such a dolt sometimes!! in my defense, i did go on and on about how lovely the song was and how much it affected me...(feeble smile)

My S/O is VERY into music. It was a definite hint. She always tells me to go listen to a song of go read the lyrics and you can tell its how she expresses something towards me. *poke* Pay Attention *Poke* LOL!!
Sivok Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Haha, it's not an easy thing to say so maybe he was being subtle about it. However, I don't want to give you false hope, as it might've literally been nothing. You'll know either way, as it sounds like if it is true - he's getting ready to say it.
