Green Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Girls/Women really love a great voice. I always here guys on here worrying about WHAT DO I SAY TO HER... Well I say worry less about what your going to say and focus more on saying it loud and clear in GREAT VOICE. I always used to worry about comming up with something good to say to a woman. When I learned that relying on my VOICE worked it be came more about just saying ANYTHING then ASKING THEM OUT.

Back when I was younger, most girls were turned on by my voice, and even wanted to have phone/real sex because of it. I didn't even put on an act, either, they just liked it. Odd, I know. At 22, my voice has changed a bit, but still not very deep. I even swallowed pepper to make it deeper, but to no avail. So, how is this supposed to be done again, Green, from my standpoint?

What you can do though is master your own voice, which can take a long time, but it's worth doing. You know when you first hear yourself played back on a recording? That can be a real eye opener for some people. Your voice has a range to it that can be controlled to an extent. You obviously don't want to go all out trying to be deep if your voice isn't deep to begin with. If you do have a fairly deep voice, you can actually naturally talk somewhere in the mid range to low, depending on your mood and approach. If you have a higher voice I guess you'd just want to work on a calming approach. If you have a high voice you can train yourself to stop using the higher end and rely more on your mid range. What you can't do is become James Earl Jones, unfortunately. Trying this would just make you sound like an alto trying to sing bass. Yuck. Having said that, I'd say most of it really just comes down to the flow, timing, and presense. People do respond to strong voices. It is Odd and thats why I thought it is worth mentioning. Because all these guys worry about WHAT TO SAY.. when really they should be just trying to SOUND good saying ANYTHING. It is about working with and mastering the voice you were given and not necesarily about making it deeper if that is unatural.

Exactly, I to have had women compliment me on my voice... Thats why people (guys) should stop worrying so much about THINKING of something to say and just say ANYTHING with a good VOICE.

BUT my advice is aimed at those guys who always use "I JUST DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY" as their excuse for not talking/asking out girls. I really think the VOICE matters a lot more then what is said. But saying interesting stuff is great too.

If that person should take offense at that, well...perhaps they should act a bit more humble, afterall...just because this is a public forum doesn't mean we need people telling us how we should act.
threebyfate Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Green, I hate to break it to you but your voice isn't very deep. It's somewhere in the mid-range. A little deeper than tenor but not by much. As for getting girls with voices, it takes a lot more than voice to attract women. A nice deep voice is an asset, as long as the rest of the package is also well-rounded.
