I'd say that you set the bar very high, too high for most merely mortal friends. Even family and often enough spouses fail to rise to the level of faithfulness that you seem to need or want. It would be nice to have such a friend but it's impractical and unlikely. Most who do have very faithful and enduring friends normally established those strongly bonded relationships in childhood or very early adulthood through shared experiences.

This is not something that you will find online. Even the very best of intentions can't carry a relationship built on nothing beyond it's initial novelty. People get bored and drop out. Online relationships that remain online are a recipe for disappointment as a rule IMO.

My best advice is to find a mate/spouse (a hard thing to do in a short period of time and do it right) or second best, barring that is to (seriously) get and care well for a dog/pet. They are always happy to see you. No, they can't talk to you and are a bit short in the advice department but it's hard to be lonely when you love a dog (or any other pet for that matter).

Good luck to you.
