JACQUE33 Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I have been sing this guy for 4 months now. He lied to me aboout his age the whole time. I confronted him about and he still lied to me. I tild him to stop bull ****ting me and tell me the truth. he finally did. i tild him that i was not mad, but hurt. His age does not bug me. what bugs me is that he lied about it. i dont know what to do? i relly like him. I have not heard from him, nor am i going to call him. what do i do
Diezel Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 He lied. Game over. Keep doing what you are doing right now, which is nothing.
jamal Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I do not see the incentive behind lying about age. If a younger woman gives you her number then all it means is that you look very young for your age. Which is a compliment. If an older woman gives you her number then all it means is that you act more mature than your age. Which is also a compliment. Either way, there is no need to lie about your age. It just shows how insecure a man is. I am comfortable telling 25 year old women that I am 33 and I do not have a problem telling 45 year old women my age. What even makes it cute in my case is that I look at least 5 year younger than my age (no booze, no smoking, metrosexual, gym slave).

I lied about my age to my first serious boyfriend when I first met him. I met him at a club and he was 23. I was really 18, but at the time I thought he wouldn't like that and it was also illegal for me to be there underage, so I said I was 21... I eventually confessed and looking back it was such a small deal.... but back then, I was convinced he wouldn't ever call me back if he found out I was 18... lol
Serenitynow Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 He decieved you to get with you. I wouldn't call him

However, I have a problem when it is grown ups doing this lying.
make me believe Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 what do i do Ignore him, he is a loser!! How old is he and how old did he say he was? I'm guessing you're young and he's older than he said he was. But whatever the situation -- he lied to you for FOUR MONTHS about this. And then lied some more when you confronted him about it. Do you really think his lying stops there? I bet there are manyyyy things he's lied to you about, or will lie about in the future if you give him a second chance. DON'T give him a second chance, he doesn't deserve it.
aerogurl87 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Four months!?!?!? Wow, that's a long time to keep something so simple as age a secret. If he lied to you about this, what else could he have lied to you about? Just something to keep in mind.
MyNameIsJane Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Kids lying to kids -that's not a biggie. However, I have a problem when it is grown ups doing this lying. I agree... but I wasn't sure of OPs age (or the guy) so I just wanted to throw it out there in case it was the same scenario... but either way - 4 months is an insanely long time to keep lying about it. I came clean after like 8 days and that felt like way too long.
