Ok so I've been seeing this guy for a month or so & everything's been fantastic. I left his place last Friday morning, everything was great and we arranged to see each other Monday night.

Then he went away to see his friends back home for the weekend.

Since then nothing. No replies to texts, or a call (yesterday afternoon to see if our date was still going ahead), or an "are you ok?" facebook message (he's been online so isnt lying dead in a ditch somewhere...)

So... of course I take it that something catastrophic's happened or he's simply lost interest or whatever. And if he told me that it'd be absolutely fine - but just blanking me is totally driving me mad! I think it's pretty rude, even if there's a really good reason...he's 35 by the way, don't people grow out of the "ignore her til she leaves me alone" thing by about 14?

And to make it more annoying - he's got a whole bunch of my DVDs and other bits and pieces at his flat and I have some of his stuff at my place...and I want my things back!!

So...keep sending the occasional friendly text and hope he caves in and replies eventually...or go round to his place one night to get my bloody stuff back?

Sorry he's gone MIA on you. I hate when that happens.

I'm guessing, the date last night really didn't happen? And you still haven't heard from him.

Give him a week, then leave a message for him about returning each other's things. I have no idea why guys do this, but they certainly do and it's very annoying. The overwhelming message that I get when this happens is that they are no longer interested, yet aren't courageous to say so.

I know women at age 40 that still do that.

It goes both ways.

If the date didn't happen at all last night and you still haven't heard from him, just CALL him and ask for your stuff back.

It's so painful when people do this, for like no reason at all. It's unfair and weak. If you've texted/emailed him twice and he hasn't responded for the week, i'd give him up for useless. Sometimes people are just jerks. Text him asking to please drop your stuff back at your place while you're at work. Good luck xoxoxo

Methinks he met someone while he was away.

Cut your losses and get out. Just send him a quick message and let him know when you're coming to get your stuff. Don't wait for a reply, just go.

Sorry, it know it sucks. I've been there...
