i smelt marjuana before but never cocaine.

It has a smell to it. Its not a strong scent IMO, so not sure if he really does smell it or is confusing it for something else.

 

Must be quite the girl if he is trying to impress her that way.

I wouldn't know, I don't smoke cocaine, but it seems highly unlikely people would be smoking it in English Bay...I've seen people openly smoking pot, but cocaine??

In its pure state its an odorless chemical. Problem is most cut it and add junk to it that its fumes when burned are from the additives and not necessarily the cocaine itself.

In powder form uncut , its doubtfull your friend can smell it. Burnt most things and yup...it has an odor...

Yea, the ability to smell cocaine is really high on my impress-ometer

I think that he is BSing you. You can't really smell it unless close by (my ex ex was a cocaine addict). Weed on the other hand you can smell from a mile away.
