Do you believe in those sayings, like "What goes around comes aroung", "If you love someone let them go, if they come back it was ment to be"n and so on. In all those sayings connected with Karma? Any personal experience?

I believe in all of them. I'm yet to see Karma really in action, unfortunately. I could use some of that right now, but to be honest, the longer I have to wait for Karma to happen, the better it will be....

Oh actually, there was an instance of Karma that I did get to see. There was this guy I liked a few years ago. We were good friends for at least 6 months, he would take me out to dinner, coffee, drive me places, even if was just for a drive - we'd just hang out and do stuff and talk. Was great.

After a while, I started liking him. And he started leading me on. Like, I thought I misread the signals coz I was young, but no, the signals were there. Anyway, one day it all lead to a point. We were meant to meet up to discuss where this was going, but I couldn't since I was working on a film that weekend (film school). Tried to reschedule, got flaky replies.

When I wondered what was going on (after the weekend was over), we spoke on MSN. He said that he had a girlfriend. I wondered where that came from, since we always spoke about everything. He'd met her at a car show that weekend, and said she was his girlfriend. Well, my little world fell apart right there. I couldn't eat or sleep for ages. I told him over MSN that when Karma hits him, he won't know which way to turn. Never spoke to him again.

About 2 weeks later, a mutual friend at work told me a little story. She told me that the girl that was his 'girlfriend' got upset that he was saying that they were together. That he was saying odd things to her like 'oh, next time you get a lot of money, give half to me'. Weird right? Basically, this girl wanted NOTHING to do with him. They were never together. taht was a test to see how I reacted.

In the end, he ended up with neither of us. Then he tried to contact me for a couple of months after that. I never responded.

Recently I saw him again. He walked into my work to do some shopping. He looked thoroughly miserable, and I had a huge smile on my face and happiness oozing out of every pore.

Best. Revenge. Ever.

So far, the more I WISH Karma on people, the less it happens. Only when I've TOLD someone that Karma was coming to them, did it actually happen. Never underestimate the power of words :)

That was really long, sorry!

Oh, I absolutely believe in karma! I didn't for a long time, and then I met my ex of '04, Sh*tnugget. Truly the most abusive jerk I've ever known in my life, not just to me, but to at least one other gf before me. He's a writer, and when I met him his first book was about to come out. He thought he was god's gift to literature and was certain his book was going to be a bestseller.

At the time I met him, I was still searching for an agent, and though I did find one while we were together, I thought I'd never be as big a literary genius as Sh*tnugget. Well, long story short, his book tanked and he ended up teaching at a community college in bumf*ck, nowhere. I sold my book for a substantial amount more money than he did, not that that would ever matter in any other circumstance, but when you've had something rubbed in your face like he rubbed his book deal in mine, you tend to feel justified in gloating.

I also found out the girl with whom he was cheating on me died in a car accident, which does not of course make me happy, and really doesn't have anything to do with this, so never mind.

Hell yeeeeeah!I've had sweet revenge on all the guys who have wronged me apart from my recent ex.the best thing is I didn't even have to try.

Not really. I think we may see a cause/effect relationship or a coincidence as inevitable because of our psychological need for closure, especially to a percieved injustice. I don't believe this could be called Karma, per se.
