• I love how many of them write in chicken scratch. This is especially cute when they give you cards and sweet notes.
  
• I love how a guy's hands can completely enfold yours.
  
• I love when they bust through that macho stuff to tell you how they really feel about you.
  
• I love when they are sick and play tough but clearly enjoy the sympathy and soup.
  
• I love how they always want to fix things for you, and welcome the chance to be your hero for a few hours.

I love the feel of a man's hand on the small of my back when he guides me into a room.

 

I love that they humor me at dinner when I feel sorry for the stone crab because we pull off their arms and then throw them back to crawl around on the sand with only one arm.

 

I love that nook between neck and shoulder where my head fits perfectly.

 

I love their adventurous spirit.

 

I love that they are simple - some beer and a ballgame and they are content.

 

I love that they are complicated, and can surprise me when I least expect it.

 

I love that look in their eye that tells me they think I'm beautiful.

I've come to the conclusion that it would be lying to say I love men in general. I love and are in love with some men. I like many, many men as people. The ones I'm not acquainted with, I don't give a crap about. Some I strongly dislike or have a distaste for. Replace the gender with women removing the in love portion and the same holds true.

 

Of the man I'm in love with, he's the most amazing father. I love that he can't get enough of our son and even wants to wake him up when he's sleeping so he can hold him. What's really cute and funny is that when Bump goes into a jag of crying, my big, strong man looks like he's going to cry too!
