I'm not so good at keeping fruits and veggies in my diet. I've started drinking low sodium V8 and their fruit juice too. What are your thoughts on liquid veggies? I have a feeling it will do much less then solid veggie dining.

depends on how they process the juice: At some stage, nutrients are lost when veggies and fruits go from their original form to a new one, even if it is just turning them into juice or drying them out.

and there's also the loss of fiber content from the pulp, which helps your tripas work more smoothly

if you're serious about incorporating more fresh foods into your diet and you feel juice is a good way to do it, why not invest in one of those juicing machines (similar to what Jack LaLanne endorses)? You'd be using the whole fruit/veg, which in some instances is cheaper than buying processed juices, and by year's end, you will have recouped the money invested in said machine.

hmmm ... I think I just figured out what to ask my husband for now!
