Girls, when you see a guy from high school,do you see the old or new him?

If a guy was a bit of an awkward nerd in high school, but you hadn't seen him in years and he'd changed for the better, would you still remember the old him? Would his changes appear disingenuous? Would who he used to be disqualify him from dating you?

I'm an idealist and prone to fantasy, so I see him in light of whichever version of him was more appealing to me.

 

I do the same thing with boyfriends. There is always one magic moment (or more than one) when he utterly wins over my heart. No matter what he does in the future, I will always hold on to that defining blissful moment, and carry a picture and impression of it around in my mind.
