Just to set things up, I am 31, she's 24. I am still at home with my parents because my job wouldn't let me live on my own, went back to school about to graduate and have a job as a tutor where I go. She works in management at a store.

We met online, we talk/talked on bbm for a couple weeks. Last Friday was my birthday and unintentionally we ended up at the same place, I was already really drunk but we had a great time she liked me her friends liked me as well.

We went out Saturday to a nice restaurant, went for a walk and then back for a final drink. I went to kiss her but she said she doesn't kiss on the first date.

We went out Tuesday to have some dinner and see a movie. during the movie she would hold my hand and playfully flick me with her finger. End of the night she gave me a couple pecks on the cheek, and I gave her a couple as well. We both said we would go out again.

So now for the questions we have both never really had a long term relationship she was extremely busy with work, I was with school and got hurt in a prior relationship so I took it easy on that front. We both consider ourselves rookies. She has mentioned we should go bowling, check out a show etc.. Is this just typical "talk" or does she seem into me.

My biggest issue is that I have always examined things part of my job and maybe I over think things. Is it possible there's potential if so does it hurt that we are kind of both rookies and is the age difference a problem.

This place seems to be real nice with a lot of good posters.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well, it seems to me like she's still trying to see what direction this is all going in. I think she likes you, but she doesn't want to move too quickly with you at this point. The fact that she's still suggesting more dates shows that she enjoys your company a lot. If she weren't into you, I'm pretty sure she'd be trying to avoid you; unless you were simply a friend to her, which I doubt.

So yes, there's potential there, definitely. And I don't think the age difference is an issue.

Thanks it's never easy to read females. I thought for sure I was sunk when I got denied a kiss but after that she wanted to feel my bicep and wanted me to do push-ups. Next time we go out should I ask probing questions. We have both asked them the first couple times and we seem to agree we are busy but it would be great when there's down time to see one another. She even said it would be nice if I dropped by to visit her at lunch at work when I complete my day of work etc..

I think you're IN like flynn, I think she doesn't want to rush into things so soon. You take your time, she takes her time. You both feel comfortable with each other, and perhaps it might be a long term contract.

Dude you better start working out more. Start doing a million lunges and crunches.

Yep, the fact that she's suggesting seeing each other again -- and not only that, but specific activities -- suggests that she's imagined doing those things with you.

You're off to a good start.

i think there is definatly potential, generally women only suggest ideas for dates when they want to see you again. ;)

no worries about the age difference, it is about whether or not the two of you get along as a couple, everyone has different maturity/intellectual levels. (i am 26, bf is 34)

Yes, she seems interested. You should take her bowling soon since she suggested that. :) Personally, I would never make such suggestions if I wasn't interested in the guy. And I don't think 24 and 31 is too big of an age difference.

I'm a little younger than her and she sounds interested to me. I don't think I would ever suggest specific activities with someone unless I wanted to see them again.

Sounds like she just wants to move slowly.

Thanks for the advice. I can tell she wants to take it slow so how do I proceed do I just go with the flow? Haven't talked with her since at the end of Tuesday, she was away Wed, and busy Thurs worked early today. Sucks because she's on unavailable on bbm lol.

Just to update things there might be a relationship on the horizon. Seeing her for lunch on Monday, we're going out on Wed for mini golf and on Fri a bunch of us are getting together for Rock N Bowl so maybe there is potential after all.

Good on you and her for seeing each other. JUST BE CAUTIONED, that you dont' see her too often. Seeing her too often just makes you seem available all times of week. She'll get bored of you and your company fizzling out this new thing you two have if you want this to be long term. Take it slow, txt/bbm for a bit. I'm trying my best to slow my own situation down since I'm in the exact same boat as you and i want this to last for a while. Our schedules conflict for the next two weeks, but fine by me!

Yep I agree with this. I start my 60 hr/week job after next week so that kind of tells the story. The week after she goes away to Florida for a week.
