I know this isn't the place for sex questions, but this is more of a "talk about it" kind of question. . . We've gotten to the point where every time we get intimate, it stops with the hands. He doesn't even try to have sex with me anymore. Like, he tried, it didn't work, and he gave up. And Idk what to do. . .

Performance anxiety issues belong in the sex section. I was actually expecting a thread where you were dating a guy you have not slept with yet and he gave up trying.

somedude81 Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Issues with performance anxiety are more about the guy's state of mind. It's something that he really needs to take care of himself. In this situation the OP could take the initiative and try to give the guy a hand job or a BJ. She would need to take charge. After reading the title and that this is in the Dating subforum, my first impression was that the OP was going out with this guy, after she kept turning him down for sex, he stopped trying. There's an obvious difference between the two situations.
Author iheartlavalamps Posted June 16, 2010 Author Posted June 16, 2010 It's been 2 or 3 weeks since then, but last time he said it was a mix of stress and exhaustion, and stopping to put the condom on just kind of ruined the mood (for his junk, not him) and once it was down, it just wasn't going to come back. So he stopped trying, because every time he tries he has to get a condom and then I think he ends up with blue balls because (I think), obviously he can't get off if he's not hard.
