If you like a girl how long after a first date do you ask her out for a second?

I know some guys have that 3 day rule thing, but if you were eager and kept asking her out for the first date, how long does a guy wait to ask for a second?

I'm not a guy but in my experience I've had eager guys (they ask me on the first date for the 2nd date), or they've called me the next day to the other side of the spectrum and being ignored for 5 days and only then being asked again. I think it all depends on the guy and the situation and just how much they like you and what they want from you (just sex or something meaningful).

If I went out with her on Friday night and wanted to see her again, I'd call her on Sunday night to ask her out again for the following week. But there's no hard and fast rules to this...if I'm interested in going out with the girl again, I call. No games.

It's no game but simple decency - if you want to make weekend plans, call her no later than Wednesday. Other than that, just do whatever feels natural and not too eager
