nolagurl07 Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Ok so I met this guy online and we started chatting and we seemed to have alot in common. We agreed to meet about 3 weeks ago and the night went quite well ended with a hug and agreed to meet again. He contacted me about 2 days later setting up another date. That night he contacted me 2 hrs before saying he couldnt make it cuz of work he was working later than he thought. I was disappointed but i understood. We tried rescheduling but once again he couldnt make it. A week later I was out with some friends and I ran into him and so we chatted for a bit and decided to set up another date. This time we were meeting for dinner and then a drink after. The dinner was at 7 but i showed up and he wasnt there he didnt end up contacting me and showing up till 730. When he showed up he was still in his work clothes said he was sorry didnt have his phone on him and got dressed in his truck so we could go to dinner. I was a bit mad but understood once again. We had a very good time after the date when i was driving home he texted saying hope i had a good time and he said liked me and to let me know when i want another date. I contacted him a few days later suggesting we go see a movie monday night because I figured since he was suggesting most of the plans I would ask him for once plus he told me to him know when i was free. So we made pland to see a movie but he said he didnt know what time he was getting off work and we should go see a late movie i said sounds good. I waited for him to contact me monday nite when he got off work no call or text so i sent him a text saying hey wats the update on tonite r u still working no answer nothing no call all night. I went online later that night saw that he was online i was like what so i didnt want to call him or text again that seemed desperate so i just sent him a short email saying that i just wanted to be honest and let him know i enjoyed getting to know him and i do like him but it seems like whenever plans are made you flake and im just confused about your intentions or what not. I mean he clearly flaked last night he didnt even call and he knew we had plans. What should i do? It doesnt seem like this guy is very into me yet whenever we do hang out or see each other he texting up my phone or calling saying he likes me and all this stuff so i figured he liked me. Did that email seem desperate or a bad move im just so tired of him not showing up or cancelling when he clearly tells me all the time he likes me and wants to talk. Should i just leave him alone for now on and see if he mentions not following through with the last plans...
sigurpol Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Try to use paragraphs when posting. It makes it a lot easier and I don't have to skip over things. Anyway, I would just forget it. The early start of relationships should be somewhat carefree, fun... and sticking to date plans once they're made. Seems like you're fed up, and I would bet this will only continue if you stick around.
