Delacy Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Ok, so i posted not so long ago about me still being in love with my ex after 3 years. The thing is there is someone new on the scene that i'm getting to know, but the deeper i get to know her the more i think of my ex girlfriend, i keep on thinking i'm never going to love this new girl, she doesnt make me laugh like my ex did, i just cant give my all in this potential new relationship because my ex is at the fore front of my mind all the time.why am i thinking theese thoughts? What is wrong with me?
stillafool Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Nothing is wrong with you. You just have not gotten over your Ex yet. Give it more time and for goodness sake let the new girl go as you will just end up hurting her. You probably shouldn't try to date seriously until you are over your Ex.
Author Delacy Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 But its been 3 years, surely i'm going to have to start dating some time? I dont want to hurt her though...
mr heartbroken Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I think you should be dating. Stop putting pressure on yourself! Enjoy her company and relax. You must have some reason as to why you are withthe current girl. I could pick ten faults in my current date. But the thing is stop looking at what she can't do and look at what she is doing! If she's not doing anything then cut tie's! If she ticking some boxes the keep seein her! You will no doubt compare her to your ex but the thing is she will no doubt have faults she will be different from your ex that's what makes her her! That's just what I think! IT'S EASY TO GIVE ADVISE BUT TRY DOING WHAT YOU SAY! IT'S HARD!
Author Delacy Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Thanks. She's not doing anything, but i still might stick at it!!??
