This goes beyond any kind of comment. There are plenty of men just as shallow and I hope you two can find each other.

OP how tall are you?

I'm pretty sure the OP is a troll. No actual women I am acquainted with are under the impression that most of the female population hold shoes in higher regard than great guys they have chemistry with, nor are they under the impression that it's common for women to regard other human beings as accessories.

That being said, if the OP is real she hopefully is aware that she is shallow as glass but she is allowed to have her preferences.

For the record, I am a six foot tall woman who likes shoes of many kinds and I've had many happy and hot relationships with men who are shorter than me in my heels OR in my ballet flats. My husband is six two so he is my height or shorter if I wear heels, and I certainly never feel like I suddenly morph into a man when I'm standing next to him. If I start to grow a beard or he starts to lactate, maybe I'll worry, but my shoes have zero affect on our relationship. or the gender roles we choose to occupy. The whole premise of this thread is ridiculous.

Chastity Bono could have saved herself tons of money. She could have just gone on a date with a man shorter than her and it would be an instant sex change operation.

I was starting to think this too, but she has a pretty long posting history, and all her older threads indicate exactly what others have been saying: the dude dodged a bullet!

OP, take a look at this picture. What do you think?

Nicole and I are the same height. In heels she'd be taller than myself. She's been married to two men (Tom Cruise and Keith Urban) who are shorter than she is. Do you think she's 'settling'? Why?

Is it your heels which are getting in the way? Really? Good luck :)

Again, to each their own...but like Stung said, the premise of this thread is ridiculous.

I just met this wonderful Man the other day sweet charming engaging, while we were on a date i realized with heels on we were the same height i might have even been a half an inch taller ,heels are a huge part of my life i love wearing heels and dont want to change my wardrobe for somebody

Like most women i have huge hangups about a guy being shorter then me in my shoes,we all want to feel small feminine and dainty i feel like the Man standing next to him in heels

I couldnt get over this and broke off our date i felt horrible about it for days but were attracted to what were attracted to i guess and i couldnt fake attraction regardless of his other great qualities

This is one of the saddest posts I've ever read at LS. And the person losing in all this is YOU!!

"Most" (50.0000001% or more) women probably don't even think about these things until caring friends bring them up.

"Most" (50.00000001% or more) people are somewhat fascinated by the randomness represented by the one life mate that they have, and "random" can land on either side of your high heels.

Now mind you, I am far against you ever ceasing to wear the high heels that you love so much... but I just want to chime in as someone who couldn't care less whether they let you reach 5' 7" or 7' 5"...
