My ex gf broke up with me in March b/c I had a slip up and cheated.. now that's out of the way.... I thought I would get over it quickly , like I've ALWAYS been able to do... within a few days, dated one girl for 2 mths, hooked up w/an ex gf... hooked up with another woman... now going on a date tonight with a new woman... so "i'm lonely, I have no life without out her" doesn't apply... but damn I still miss her...

I realized what love was, I was really "IN love" with her.. this didn't happen when me and the ex wife of 12 years split, any other g/f, NOR my last serious relationship of about 3 years...I was always ableto move on and forget about it...

I can't believe this is the first time it hurts soo much.. This happen to anyone else?

so how come u didn't realize u were in love with her before hand. What made u finally realize this? you know, im not a bible person but there is a great line that i love "for now we see threw a glass darkly then face to face" we often dont see what we have in front of us but when we come to relize that we see face to face but somtimes its to late.

Well, now I know why your ex dumped all her mementos on your doorstep...

Well I guess you had dated a lot before really realizing how you miss your ex. Was it experimenting to see if anyone can replace your ex? Well I would say finally now you are convinced your ex is one in a million.

The problem is you broke up in March and for few months you had been "wild". If your ex were to know your active lifestyle, she might not even think twice, she might never think at all! It is obviously old habits can prolong and how secure will she be.

Anyway I am not saying there is no hope to win her back. You should apply the right formula, but most importantly DO NOT PANIC!

If she refuse to meet you, then write a simple letter and briefly apologize for your mistakes. Add also some wonderful things happening to you. All these are to make her believe that you agree with the breakup " and agree she need some time to herself.

Just offer yourself to be her friend.

This shall be a good start. Good luck
