Ex behaved rather strange the other night. Could she have been playing a joke?

Many of you know that me and my ex split 3 months ago. We were together for 3 1/2 years. The reason's for the break up are still not exactly known but I implmented NC then a month later she writes me confessing that she misses me incredibly and has been thinking of me constantly also wanting to know if I have been thinking bout her. She continued to initiate contact with me frquently but always keeping my guard up and putting her off. Over a week ago she texted me asking to talk and we talked through txt. She was sad bout something but idk wut. We had a good conversation and I got her to laugh several times. It was late by my last message though and she never got back to me. 6 days go by and I never hear a word from her. Then this last Tuesday I wrote her asking if she was thereand I get a responde 2 hours later saying nothing but hi. That's it just a lousy hi! I never got back to her cause it was late.

 

Then the next day she text's me again, this time asking if I can call her. Normally she would ask if I want to first but this time felt like she demanded I call her. This was fairly odd since it only meant that there was something she in fact wanted to say. If it was just talking she would ask if I want to and just talk through text messages if I can't which I couldn't since I wasn't home but rather than talking through text she wuld just ask if I'm available or home yet. She continued to do this for a while, very eager and impatient to talk. Seemed very unlike her. When I got home it was around 10 PM. I finally told her I was home but she told me she had to get ready for bed and then we'll talk. It always takes her forever so half hour later when she got ready she wrote me again this time telling me she has to take care of a few things but never says what. I wait and wait for an hour. I then wrote her asking if she's ready to talk but nothing. I then call her but she never picked up. I was getting very suspicious. I wrote her telling her I can't talk anymore tonight so I'll talk to her tomorrow which wuld be today. She still has never gotten back to me. Wut do u guys think? Is she playing a game? I feel like she was just playing some dumb joke on me or getting back for putting her off. I feel as if I were ditched. I'm waiting to see if she says something today.

 

Also keep in mind her choice of words were completely different. She normally would say something like "hey do u want 2 talk to me tonite? Or r u available to talk tonite?" But last night she was using proper english and saying "can you call me today? When will you be home? Are you home yet? Tell me when you are" etc. Very awkward but could it mean something? I'm not sure but I'm almost scared it may not have been her. Tell me wut u guys think.

I'm in a similar situation.

 

I'm a mangy, flea-bitten dog. My owner abandoned me. Lately though, he's been coming around with bacon bits and I follow him home as he drops them on the ground. But when we get to his house he slams the door on me and I have to sleep in an alley again.

 

Also I noticed yesterday he was wearing tennis shoes; he usually wears Oxfords. Does this mean something?

 

Do you think he wants me to stay with him again? Maybe he's just confused about what he wants.
