I've been holding up fairly well. Blocked the ex from my life. Sitting at lunch having a decent time when out of NOWHERE, one of my friends dumps his iphone on my lap and says "wow....look". What was it? My ex's FB page, with a post that seemed to be song lyrics about "girls like you make men like me hate" or something like that.

 

I BURST out into tears in the middle of the restaurant and spent most of the time crying in the bathroom.

 

I was starting to feel better. Even thanked my higher power this morning for giving me the power to block him on FB so that I don't have to see what he's up to.

 

Now this! WHY???

 

Someone help....please.....:sick:

Maybe you need a more sensitive friend. Since I've been on here I've read quite a few posts that mention Facebook and other such social networking sites and the havoc they cause. Maybe it's because I'm older, maybe it's because I am IT professional and have been for 15 years, but I just don't understand the appeal nor the draw these sites have.

 

Why care what someone puts on a silly social networking site? Ignore it and pay it little attention. Put the mouse down, disconnect from all the silliness and re-connect with your friends (not the ones that constantly look at that stuff), your family and even yourself.

 

My post was not in any way mean to be an attack or a condemnation of you, even though it might read that. It was meant to give you perspective.

 

Chin up, it will get better.

you know what.. screw facebook and screw him. I am a facebook user but deep down I think its childish.

Dont take it personally please.

I looked at something my ex had put on facebook the other day. some girls status was what do you think of me 1. cute 2. sexy etc and he had put the thing that was cute. I thought really why is a 23 year old man even answering these stupid statuses?The girls was only about 17.Its something I would expect from my 14 year old brother. And more fool me for even caring.

You can't take facebook seriously. Its a curse really.
