Including, the thought that my youngest son could be a product of an affair. Is there a way to take an 8 year old boy to find out for sure without my wife knowing? I am sure it would not change my relationship with my son but I don't want it weighing on my mind. He adores me and doessn't want to leave my side and I would never dream of cutting any ties with him.
Doing it Since '78 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Hell yeah there is Bro, go into your neighborhood walgreens or cvs, they sell the send off kits, you can swab your son and yourself, and get results back in like a month Just be mentally prepared for what you may get back, no bull$hit.

With my son there is no way I could doubt I was his Dad and the same with all the members in my family. We seem to have traits that are undeniable. I'm sure you can goggle the test you need.. it won't hold up in court though but might put your mind at ease if that is what you are looking for.

I'd love to put up pictures but this is a pretty sensitive and private forum and I'd like to keep it that way, lol. Thanks for the advice....she wants to work things out with me so if more deception comes out it will only make my decision easier.
bananalaffytaffy Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Yes, you can get tests. Though a cheek swab is more reliable, I think they can even do it with a toothbrush or hair from a hairbrush. You can't go by physical similarity. My friend has two sons. One looks like him, one looks like his wife.

They will charge you a fee for the kit which consists of cotton swabs to use to collect DNA from you and another set of swabs to collect DNA from your child. You send this kit back to the company and they run the paternity test for another fee. Usually less than $500.00 total. Also, the age old adage that if your child has your features then you can be certain he/she is your offspring is simply untrue. As mammals we all have honed our own particular preferences for traits we seek in mates. If your wife was attracted to your sultry dark eyes and curly auburn hair It`s quite likely she has been attracted to other men with sultry dark eyes and auburn hair. Good luck.

There are lots of online DNA kits you can order and have delivered that involve swabbing the inside of your mouth and your child's. You can have it shipped to your place of work and have the results mailed there too. I did it, and thankfully both my kids are mine.

I'd always consider them my sons. but I'd arrange a lunch with my x-wife, put the results in front of her, then just wait for the wh0re's response. other than that, its just a matter of knowing and hoping they are mine.

What would change with me is the bastards need to find their real dad, and make sure the law didn't backdoor me for child support all because their mom was a smut, who couldn't keep her thighs shut. It's a rough turn of events for the kids involved, but don't blame me, blame your slore of a mom
