Gunn Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Okey - Short. 5 years since breakup. Are on good terms - 'it just didn't work out' relationship. Both single. Met at a party a week ago and had a blast chatting and laughing together. Should I let it go or should I text her or send her a Facebook message or something. Talking to her reminded me so much of the good old times. Is it a go or a no?
ADF Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 2nd chances are usually a bad idea. They usually just lead to break-up/make-up/break-up again cycles that can drag on for years. However, your case sounds about as promsing as any I've ever heard. It is five years later. You've both moved on, so you know you are not acting out of post-break-up desperation. Your break up sounds like it was fairly amicable. You clearly have a lot in common and enjoy each other's company. I saw go slowly, but go for it.
bluewolf17 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Mine was. Take it slow. It sounds like you have some promise. The last thing you want to do is rush into it, and end up right back where you started, with nothing resolved.
