Does this seem odd to you?

Last night, my boyfriend called. I was at a mutual friends house, and he said he wanted to come over because he was "really bored" but the friend was about to go to bed and I was leaving. So 5 minutes later, I asked him if he wanted to come over, and he said he was in bed and would have to take a shower, and said he'd be over tonight.

I said ok, and he asked if I was mad. I said no. He said he loves me, and started flirting.

I can't decide if it's odd, and he wanted to do something but he didn't want to have what I'm going to call a boyfriend night, or if (I get this feeling) I'm doing something that annoys him.

But he was already in bed?

Everything sounds innocuous to me. Your worries however sound problematic (not fair to say neurotic, but symptomic slightly). Ya gotta trust and think on the positive side rather than getting insecure and worried at little stuff. I urge you not to belabor such things and just move on and let it go. It get's tiring and contentious when either party needs to have absolutes spelled out for every little miscue. No one'sperfect--not even you. If there's something to worry about it will become clear if you let it. Otherwise you'll be making something to worry about.

wow, that was a lot of big words. I didn't get upset about it or mad or anything, I just wasn't sure if it was all me or if that really was odd.

But, the next day we went out to dinner and he was all "I can't believe I didn't come over last night" and etc, without me ever saying a word about it.

Wow, my d!ck would sure get hard if a SO called me up wanting to come over because she was 'bored'. :D

He was being a b!tch; don't pay him no mind when he's like that :)
