BlkAzian Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I am about to be newly divorced from my husband, I was a stay at home mom and a student. I need to finish school, but at the same time I need to work so i can provide for my children. I would go to school in the mornings maybe twice or four times a week depending on classes and work till about ten at night. My concern is that I wont get to spend time with my 15month old and 9yr old. am i being to whiney. but i am trying to get my credit corrected and save for our house. at the moment we live at my parents house. I like spend time with my kids
turnera Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Be creative to find pockets of time with them. Kids love trips to the library; do some schoolwork while they attend special events there. Find other mothers and set up a babysitting co-op with them so you have good times but also time for school. Things like that. Have you looked into grants and loans? I would do that so you can fasttrack the school and get it done quicker. If you're a single mother you can probably qualify for lots of grants.
